Audemar's Piguet
Audemars Piguet is a company with highly-regarded international acclaim for their immensely lavish watches which are characterized by their highly complex mechanisms. Ever since it was founded in 1875 by childhood friends Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, the company was driven by the idea to create the most perplex movements which would continuously innovate the horological world. In 1889, Audemars Piguet launched the Grande Complication which featured a chronograph, perpetual calendar, and a minute repeater with triple chiming gongs, among many other complications. To this day, the company has many records which are still untouched, including the smallest five minute repeater in history. Today, Audemars Piguet continues to handcraft timepieces which are innovative, one of many reasons they are considered the world’s ultimate luxury watch makers.
